This week Mark presents a SteynOnline audio special marking the 80th anniversary of a great Cole Porter standard introduced to the world on July 29th 1936. We'll hear "It's De-Lovely" sung by the original Broadway performer Ethel Merman, as well as by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Milton Berle - and the British pop star Lisa Stansfield puts a Nineties spin on the other great song from Porter's score. Mark also touches on the DeSoto and 7Up variations on the tune, and concludes with his and Jessica Martin's own multi-chorus live performance from The Mark Steyn Christmas Show a couple of years ago.
