When I first visited the Canadian Parliament several years ago (post September 11th, pre the attack on Parliament Hill), I remarked on how easy it was to gain access as compared to my own country's Capitol Building. After flashing my New Hampshire driver's license, the security guard said, "looks legit" and waved me in.
Seems the same guy was in charge of vetting Yaroslav Hunka – a 98 year old Canadian-Ukrainian Nazi who was feted for fighting the Russians (in World War II!) in Parliament last week...
Since then, the Speaker of the House who introduced his constituent as a war hero has resigned, Liberals have quickly moved to erase history, and the Prime Minister is cautioning us not to get caught up in all this Russian disinformation.
Oh, and Poland is seeking to extradite Hunka.
As our dear friend Leilani Dowding observed.
But, wait I thought these guys were expert at spotting the Nazi?
As Libs of Tik Tok observed:
Remember when Canadian Parliament member Yaara Saks claimed that "honk honk" was code for "heil hitler" and basically accused the canadian truckers of being nazis?
Well this week in Parliament she honored and cheered for an actual Nazi SS officer. pic.twitter.com/i623NnWhIx

Trudeau accused Conservative MPs sympathetic to the trucker convoy of standing with "people who wave swastikas".
"As new generations form their understanding of the world, we must make sure that the lessons of the Holocaust do not go untold...earlier this year our country and people around the world were shocked and dismayed to see Nazi imagery displayed in our nation's capitol."
Forget the false flag imagery, the Nazi is in the House. Literally!
Tamara Lich – an organizer of the Freedom Convoy – is still on trial with no end in sight so we thought we would revisit the Freedom Convoy – through this delightful interview of our colleague and bestselling author Andrew Lawton conducted by Mark in the fall of last year.
Andrew's book, The Freedom Convoy: The Inside Story of Three Weeks that Shook the World is available on Amazon for Canadians here, Americans here, and Brits here. There's also a Chinese edition if that's your bag.
Andrew will also be among our guests on next year's Mark Steyn Cruise, which sets sail on the Caribbean in February. Mark will be joined by Leilani Dowding, Eva Vlaardingerbroek, Michele Bachmann, James Golden, and Conrad Black. Dates and details are here.
