On Wednesday, Mark returned to one of his very favorite radio shows - "The John Oakley Show" on Toronto's Global News Radio 640. Alex Pierson was sitting in for John, and she and Steyn talked over the glib politicization of mass murder, plus the litigious alleged-transgender wax fetishist Jessica Yaniv and the "human rights" tribunal's indulgence thereof. We had a grand turnout from Canadians on last year's Mark Steyn Club Cruise, and we know there are more than a few Oakley listeners booked on this September's voyage, sailing from Vancouver to Alaska. But we also hope to see some of you on next year's Mediterranean cruise, which will be making calls on the sovereign territory of both Canada's founding nations - France and (via Gibraltar) Britain. But don't leave it too late - the staterooms are going spectacularly fast, and, as with most vacation plans, the travel and accommodations are more favorably priced the earlier you book.
If you're one of that small, brave band who prefer Steyn on camera, he'll be back on TV tomorrow evening, Thursday, south of the border with Tucker Carlson, live at 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific, with a rerun at midnight. If non-visual formats suit you just fine Steyn-wise, Mark will be right here in audio about an hour beforehand with Part Fourteen of our current Tale for Our Time, Three Men in a Boat, and live around the planet on Friday to take questions from Steyn Club members in a brand new Clubland Q&A, kicking off at 4pm North American Eastern Time - that's 8pm GMT, if you want to work it out for your neck of the woods.
