Happy Daylight Savings Time to our North American readers. To spring into summer, this week we officially announced the Second Annual Mark Steyn Club Cruise. More details below.
Meanwhile, in case you missed it, here's how the last seven days looked to Mark:
~The week began with Steyn still in the after-glow of his hit tour with Dennis Miller, and celebrating with his favorite song by a composer from Rochester, New York.
~On Monday Mark did double-duty on the airwaves: first, guest-hosting America's Number One radio show, and then joining Tucker Carlson to ponder the racism of Dr Seuss. Click below to watch:
~Shrove Tuesday in Aalst, Belgium brought the annual Parade of the Dirty Sissies ...and a ton of unwelcome publicity from the European Commission, B'nai Brith and more: "Two-Mile Tailbacks at Jew-Hate Junction" was our most-read piece of the week.
~On Wednesday Steyn joined John Oakley on Global News Radio 640 to consider an amazing plot twist: What Trump's accused of, Trudeau actually did. Click below to listen:
~Thursday brought another double-dose of Steyn on the air - first another stint behind the Golden EIB Microphone as the House prepared to vote on its ludicrous "anti-hate" resolution, and then on to "Tucker Carlson Tonight" and the strange unwokeness of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez:
~Open-Line Friday found Mark spending a third day on America's Number One radio show and celebrating International Women's Day with giant breasts, nanny goats, Ilhan Omar and Chelsea Manning.
~Steyn's Weekend Notebook contemplated the GOP's next hill not to die on. For our Saturday movie date, Mark looked back at the director of Dr Strangelove, 2001: A Space Odyssey and A Clockwork Orange: Stanley Kubrick.
Much of our content at SteynOnline is made possible thanks to members of The Mark Steyn Club, for which we are profoundly grateful. You can find more details about the Steyn Club here. And don't forget our special Gift Membership.
If you missed the first Miller/Steyn Adorable Deplorable Tour, we'll be announcing new dates soon - and for Miller/Steyn fans for whom one night isn't enough there's always the Second Annual Mark Steyn Club Cruise, sailing from Vancouver through Alaska's Inside Passage to Glacier Bay and Ketchikan. Cabins are going fast, and, as with most travel accommodations, the prices are more favorable the earlier you book. For those coming from far afield, Cindy, our cruise manager, can help with flight and hotel bookings: If you're dialing from almost anywhere but Australia (ie, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, Africa, South America), it's 001 (770) 952-1959; if you're calling from North America, it's 1-800-707-1634. Or you can email your query here. As last year's cruisers know, Cindy is super-helpful.
A new week at SteynOnline begins tonight with our Song of the Week.
