On Thursday's edition of "Tucker Carlson Tonight", I joined Tucker to discuss Al Gore's denunciation of Trump as "the face of climate-change denial":
Steyn said that in 2006, Gore warned that there was 10 years left to save the planet, but noted that it's been three years since that countdown clock ran out... He said that Gore's Tennessee mansion uses 20 times the amount of "carbon footprint" than the average American home and that he can jet around to climate conferences without guilt -- while the rest of the country is told not to do so.
"It's actually a form of class war," he said. "It's a way for elites to tell people... like Joe Schlub -- you need to give up your washing machine" and launder your clothes on a riverbank in a more primitive fashion.

In related news, Stormy Daniels and her Creepy Porn Lawyer are on the outs. Michael Avenatti apparently sued Trump for defamation on Stormy's behalf without first asking his client - and she's having a hard time getting answers from him on where all the various GoFundMe campaign money has gone. Both of these are big ethical no-noes: The most common reason for the disbarring of American lawyers is the "co-mingling" of client funds, and Avenatti strikes me as a fairly serial co-mingler. As for suing someone without first seeking your client's permission, that's particularly reckless when the defendant is the President, the claim is defamation, and your client is a porn star. I have stated for some months the obvious - that Avenatti is a peculiarly shameless version of a very American legal species, the attorney whose only real client is himself; and that at the end of it all Stormy would be broker than ever. Creepy Porn Lawyer lost her the stupid defamation case against Trump, and the judge thought it so meritless he ordered Miss Daniels to pay the President's legal fees. That's on Creepy.
