On Tuesday Mark joined Dennis Miller on "The Dennis Miller Option". Aside from their forthcoming tour together, Mark and Dennis talked about the elections and the Armistice centenary and managed to get from Mark Twain to Rudyard Kipling to Doug McClure in nothing flat. Click below to listen:
PS After all that, I believe Mark Twain is buried in Elmira, which is about halfway between our Rochester and Wilkes-Barre dates. Speaking of which, Broadway World has taken notice of the Miller/Steyn tour:
This evening of thought provoking and comedic satirical conversation is sure to inspire and engage audiences...
Dennis Miller is a five-time Emmy award winner for his HBO talk show Dennis Miller Live and on November 6 Miller's latest stand-up special premiered - Dennis Miller: Fake News - Real Jokes. In addition, Dennis can currently be heard hosting his twice-weekly podcast, "The Dennis Miller Option," and his twice daily syndicated, 60-second radio feature "The Miller Minute."
Mark Steyn is a broadcaster, recording artist and author of several international bestselling books. His human rights campaign to restore free speech to Canada led to the repeal by Parliament of the notorious "Section 13" hate-speech law. Steyn frequently guest hosts for Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News and The Rush Limbaugh Program. His most recent CD, Feline Groovy, was a Top 20 album on the Billboard chart.
Booking is open now - and, as Mark always says, the New York dates aren't too inconvenient for southern Ontarians. Tales for Our Time is made with the support of members of The Mark Steyn Club, for which we are profoundly grateful. As for that second Steyn cruise (following our inaugural voyage) that Dennis mentioned, save the date: We sail on September 4th.
