Plenty of personalities, left and right, have discussed "coming-of-age" relationships between older men and young boys, some consensual, some not. My thought experiment: if Roy Moore were holed up at the malt shop ogling teenage boys rather than teenage girls, would the media have raked him over the coals, or is the Gaystapo so strong within the Democratic caucus and media, (but I repeat myself), that they would have shut down this point of attack?
