We hope you had a merry Christmas and a happy Boxing Day. In case you missed it, here's how the last seven days looked to Steyn:
The week began with a special seasonal edition of our audio series on Sinatra songs and songwriters: The Song Is Yule.
~On Monday Mark's busy week on the airwaves kicked off with a visit to "Fox & Friends" to talk terrorism and cat songs, and then to "Varney & Co", where he chewed over various topics of the day. In the evening, he guest-hosted "Hannity" and interviewed Ted Cruz about his recent surge in the polls, his kids' participation in his Christmas commercial, and his differences with Marco Rubio on immigration.
~On Tuesday Steyn started the day talking Trump with Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business. Later he visited Alan Colmes' radio show to ponder a world without jokes. In the evening, he guest-hosted a very lively and insightful edition of "Hannity", which included an appearance by Rudy Giuliani, discussing among other things Trump's remarks about American Muslims celebrating 9/11. What the former New York mayor had to say may surprise you. Click below to watch:
~On Wednesday Mark returned to the Golden EIB Microphone to guest-host for Rush on a news day much preoccupied by schlongs and schlonging. On that evening's "Hannity" his guests included Mike Huckabee, Rand Paul and legendary entertainer Pat Boone.
~On Christmas Eve Steyn guest-hosted the pre-Yuletide edition of The Rush Limbaugh Show, and with his bestselling cat album in mind told a feline Christmas anecdote from seasons past.
~For Christmas Day Mark offered a cornucopia of Yuletide delights from the Santa Steyn grotto.
~On Boxing Day Mark looked across the ocean to contemplate a holiday without end. For our Saturday movie date he revisited the Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction.
A new week at SteynOnline begins tonight with another audio edition of The Song Is You.
Mark was very gratified to hear from happy cat-lovers and music-lovers on Christmas morning. For example:
I got Feline Groovy for Christmas it's amazing!
And:
First record of the Christmas morning is "Feline Groovy" by Mark Steyn - worth it for "Year of the Cat" alone. Play loud!
Steyn's cat album keeps flying off the shelves at Amazon, but don't be put off by that temporarily out of stock sign they've hung up. The new shipment of CDs arrives Monday morning, so you can order with confidence! There are still CDs available via CD Baby or direct from the Steyn store. And, of course, for instant gratification, it can be yours in seconds via digital download from Amazon or iTunes.
And finally for our readers Down Under: Don't forget to book early for Mark's Australian tour this February.
