The week began with Mark in Copenhagen for the tenth anniversary of the Mohammed cartoons. Both the US State Department and the UK Foreign Office advised their citizens to steer clear of Steyn. But the Danes felt differently. Here's his speech to the Danish Parliament:
There were, fortunately, no bombs or gunfire in Copenhagen, but there was some swordplay.
~On Monday our Sinatra centennial observances continued with the rhymeless raptures of "Moonlight In Vermont".
~Tuesday saw our most-read piece of the week, with Steyn riding the Refugee Express to Sweden.
~On Wednesday night, in a much appreciated column, Mark recounted his visit to the graves of two Commonwealth airmen in Malmö's Jewish cemetery. In a different kind of aerial warfare, Putin gave Obama an hour's notice to clear out of Syria.
~On Thursday Jyllands-Posten, the original publishers of the Motoons, published a big interview with Steyn on the state of the world. Meanwhile, back in America, Thursday saw another mass killing in a "gun-free zone". Mark reflected on murderers without a cause.
~On Friday our Sinatra Century songs continued with the bluesy ballad "Come Rain Or Come Shine".
~Ahead of this month's brand new Bond film, our Saturday movie date revisited Pierce Brosnan's debut as 007 in Goldeneye.

The sleazy charlatan has yet to take him up on the offer. And in another setback for Mann the Associated Press announced it will now refer to climate "deniers" as "doubters".
