On Friday night I swung by Sean Hannity's show at Fox News to join Mark Levin and others in pondering a lively week in presidential politics. Click below to watch:
It was all ticking over very pleasantly until the end when Sean went Full Trump and savaged my tie. If Jake Tapper's watching he'll probably bring it up in the next debate in lieu of the segment on the economy.
~As for that book of mine that Sean was kind enough to mention, that's my very latest - "A Disgrace to the Profession", the story of the 21st century's most famous graph and the damage it has done both to science and public policy. It's available in paperback as well as - instantly! - in Kindle and Nook. We're still the Number One climatology bestseller.
At Amazon Canada, Anders M marvels: "I was astounded at how many credentialed scientists and PhDs are willing to go on record damning Mann's hockey stick."
At Amazon UK, Skipdale Shaun calls it "a devastating critique by over a hundred scientists on the biggest scientific fraud in history."
At Amazon US, R McDermott says: "Witty, well-written and balanced. Should be read by anyone with an open mind and an interest in the AGW debate (on either side). It's also a reminder to anyone (like Mann or the Canadian Human Rights Commission) that if you want to take on Steyn, you better be packing more than just a 'shut up' because he is a formidable opponent, especially when free speech is implicated."
~Also on the subject of free speech: a week today - Saturday September 26th - I'll be speaking in the Danish Parliament on the tenth anniversary of the Mohammed cartoons. If you're in the general vicinity of Europe and can elbow your way through the "refugees" (line forms on the Hungarian border), I do hope you'll come along. More details here.
