This week Mark will be busy promoting his brand new book, which is already Number Two on the political humor charts, somewhat lower down on the jus' plain humor Top Ten, and lower still on the general bestseller list.
But, in case you missed it, here's how the last seven days looked to Steyn:
The week began with the departure of the last British troops from Helmand province in Afghanistan: We came, we saw, we left no trace...
~On Monday Mark appeared on Hannity to decry yet more security measures in response to Islam's latest provocations. He also reminded readers of the erasure of one American woman's life by the Islamic enforcers and their liberal appeasers.
~It's been a Steynapalooza of TV and radio appearances while he's out promoting The [Un]documented Mark Steyn, but Tuesday saw him reunited with one of his very favorite interviewers: New England colossus Howie Carr.
~On Wednesday Mark joined Canada's Number One morning man John Oakley live from the CBC bondage dungeon.
~On Thursday Boston's longest-serving mayor Thomas Menino died. He was no friend of free speech, but these days fewer and fewer people are...
~For Halloween on Friday, Mark offered a bewitching song and a scary hairy movie, but he also sang his own version of Ted Nugent's "Cat Scratch Version", which the Nuge himself hailed as "Killer band! Killer arrangement! Killer attitude!"
~The big news of the week was that one of the Big Three networks is unveiling a sitcom about an illegal immigrant. He's Canadian. Mark was relieved to turn to our Saturday movie pick, Mean Girls, written by and starring Tina Fey, who's currently jostling with Mark on the New York Times bestseller charts.
~It was a relatively quiet week on the upcoming Mann vs Steyn trial of the century front but various aspects of the case will come before the DC Court of Appeals later this month. Mark thanks readers around the world who've kept him in the game by buying SteynOnline gift certificates and patronizing the Steyn store to pick up the new book and more.
A new week at SteynOnline starts tonight with our Song of the Week.
Tomorrow, Monday, on the eve of Election Day in America, Mark will be joining Dennis Miller on the radio and Glenn Beck on TV, with many more audio-visual delights scheduled for the rest of the week. You can find full details of Steyn's media appearances in our daily "On The Air" box in the top right-hand corner at SteynOnline.
