In case you missed it, here's how the last seven days looked to Mark:
He began and ended the week with a musical postscript to his new book, as noted by Hugh Hewitt.
~On Monday The [Un]documented Mark Steyn was published in the US and Canada. Mark appeared on Fox & Friends to chew over one of the book's themes - that culture trumps politics. Monica Lewinsky also lent a hand. As one satisfied customer enthused, "Total civilizational collapse has never been so much fun."
~On Tuesday (Trafalgar Day), Gough Whitlam died. He was famously the only Aussie Prime Minister to be fired by the Governor-General, and thus had a direct connection to one of the odder episodes in Mark's new book.
~On Wednesday, the latest murderous Muslim convert stormed the Parliament of Canada after killing Corporal Nathan Cirillo at the national war memorial. Mark discussed this act of Islamic barbarism on TV and radio north and south of the border.
~It was not a good week for the "CO-EXIST" bumper sticker. On Thursday, yet another murderous Muslim convert stuck a hatchet in the head of a New York police officer, and Steyn offered his thoughts on the latest card-carrying member of Local 473 of the Amalgamated Union of Lone Wolves. He also found time to discuss James Bond's pronunciation of "ma'am" with Glenn Beck.
~On Friday, Mark checked in with the great Alan Jones on the radio Down Under, and both men agreed that the west's Soldiers of Allah should be charged with treason.
~At the weekend, Steyn joined Hannity, Jindal, Big John and Amy et al in Chicago for the Freedom Summit.
~Mark was happy to take a week off from his legal woes re the upcoming Mann vs Steyn trial of the century. But he was glad to see someone ask Doctor Fraudpants face to face about his fake Nobel claims. We're grateful to all those readers continuing to support Mark by buying SteynOnline gift certificates and patronizing the Steyn store to pick up the new book and more.
A new week at SteynOnline starts tonight with our Song of the Week.
Mark will be on the Bill Cunningham show tonight, Sunday, and with Howie Carr, Jay Severin, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and more during the coming week. You can find full details of Steyn's media appearances in our daily "On The Air" box in the top right-hand corner at SteynOnline.
