A soldier was shot dead at the National War Memorial in Ottawa this morning, following the fatal hit-and-run attack on two soldiers in St Jean-sur-Richelieu in Quebec on Monday. That shooter or possibly another shooter then fled the short distance to Parliament, where more shots were fired.
