I always enjoy my midweek visits with John Oakley, Toronto's Number One morning man. This week we covered a wide range of topics from environmentalist hypocrisy to CBC privatization to the meltdown in Iraq and the seizure by ISIS of the Trebil border crossing through which I entered the country some years ago. That picture on the right, by the way, is the lads from ISIS marching through Iraq, not Kathleen Wynne victory celebrations on Yonge Street.
If you're wondering about the first reference in our conversation, it's to the Latvian tennis player at Wimbledon who misheard the word "umpire" as "vampire". Could happen to anyone. Other than that footnote, I think it's all self-explanatory, as we move on to discuss bloodsucking CBC vampires, carbon-sucking Greenpeace vampires, and much else. Simply click to listen:
~Tomorrow, Thursday, I'll be keeping my weekly date south of the border with Hugh Hewitt, live coast to coast at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific.
