I had a fun time guest-hosting for Rush on America's Number One radio show today. American colleges may all want to be "safe spaces", where nothing offensive can ever be uttered, but I was happy to proclaim the EIB network the "unsafe space", where anything can be argued and batted back and forth till the best man wins. We started by discussing the fate of poor Meriam Ibrahim, eight months pregnant and sentenced to hang:
This is the wife of an American citizen. She is chained to a wall in Khartoum, and John Kerry is wasting everybody's time giving speeches on global warming...
Where is the strong arm of today's superpower saying that if you are a US citizen or the wife of a US citizen no country, no third-rate regime can do this kind of stuff to you?
We moved on to discuss the Veterans Administration health-care ghetto, John Kerry's unprotested commencement addresses, and many other topics. You can find a few highlights here.
