Since Monday we've been running some excerpts from my recent speech in Ottawa, as broadcast by Canada's Sun News Network. But to close out the week and get you all fired up for the weekend I thought "To hell with it, let's run the whole thing", complete with Chuck Strahl's introduction to the introduction and my "Sometimes When We Touch" cracks and all the rest. This was how it went at the Manning Networking Conference, which is (to analogize extremely roughly) the Canadian equivalent of CPAC. A little bit of Canuck content - the viceregal shtick about the Marquess of Lansdowne is perhaps not so pertinent if you're watching in Tuscaloosa - but other than that lots for Americans, Scots, Kiwis, Frenchmen and whatnot to ponder, too. ~Mark writes about the western world approaching the tipping point in his most recent bestseller After America, personally autographed copies of which are available in hardback and paperback direct from the SteynOnline bookstore.
