While out and about promoting the new paperback edition of After America, I was delighted to run into my favorite presidential candidate from those crowded primary debates, Michele Bachmann. She was an early champion of my book, and articulated better than any other candidate the central point - the urgency; the need to correct course now. Michele is no finger-in-the-windy, focus-grouped, jelly-spined squish, and I hope she runs for president again. Meanwhile, back home in Minnesota, the Sixth District Representative finds herself in a tough race right now. If you want to help keep a fearless, principled fighter in Congress, do go over to her campaign website and lend a hand. We're going to need her this January.
Go, Michele, Go!
