As I mentioned on Rush yesterday, next month I'll be live on stage at Hillsdale College, for my annual Michigan appearance, and up in Toronto, for the big Steynamite night at the Metro Centre. Full details here. The Hillsdale event is free, the Toronto gig is less so, but does feature added extras. Laura Rosen Cohen speculates:
I'm so excited. Excited because seeing Mark in person can include any of the following ingredients:
Laughs (many of these actually).
Songs (truly memorable).
A dominatrix (mercifully usually just one).
A singing Imam (or facsimile thereof).
Razor-sharp political commentary (lots of this).
Sartorial savoir-faire! (France sucks, but French is swell...)
Bien-sûr, ma cherie. Not sure how many imams and dominatrices we'll have to hand - it depends on the union minimum and various health-and-safety issues - but we'll do our best. As far as I'm aware, bestselling author Michael Coren is neither a dominatrix nor an imam, but he'll also be there. You can see me and Michael shooting the breeze here. Don't miss out on those logo-ed Michael Coren condoms, folks.
While you're over at Laura's site, don't miss her response to Matt Gurney's silly column in The National Post. It's feeble enough that a writer at a major national newspaper hangs his entire column on an entry from a personal blog that's been running all of three or four days, but worse that he manages to do so while missing the central point of Laura's post - which is about the death of Jewish life in Europe. "Normal" life, that is. The sort of life Matt Gurney takes for granted.
