It seems to me that this is the essence of Mann's fundamental error: that he wants to strategically litigate against your and Mr. Simberg's public participation. Stay strong! Greetings from down under.
I hate to be negative given your stellar performance embarrassing Michael Mann in court.
But it must be a tad galling that all that happens when you and Rand Simberg defeat Mann is that he will appeal the verdict, thereby subjecting you to another $5m or so to make it to the 2035 trial.
Is it a lay down misere that he will have a legal basis for appeal? Or is there a chance that the appeal is rejected and that is the end?
If that's a bit sensitive to include in a podcast, I look forward to hearing the answer at the Steyn Cruise which my wife and I are super-excited to be attending.

So, I am full of admiration for you - like everyone else in this great club of yours.
I was trying to think of a word to describe you - indefatigable came to mind. However, on second thoughts I think that word has already been used by the larger-than-life character and former MP George Galloway some years ago to describe Saddam Hussein. So, perhaps not!
It may not be one word but I think bloody minded integrity sums it up for me.
You deserve to win this case and I very much hope you do.
I can't be present at this one to support you but as and when you hear the dates for your punch up with the Ofcom brigade, please do let us know as I would be keen if it all possible to travel from Belfast to London to support you over one of the days of the trial.
So, my light hearted question is: are you going for sartorial elegance amongst your supporters (I'm thinking suit and tie) or would you prefer we go for the Viva Steyn T Shirt look?
I can't imagine you giving this much thought to date but I really don't want to let the side down in London!

Next Wednesday, February 7th, marks the sad 39th year anniversary of the far too early death of Britain's greatest singer of the standards, The Man With The Golden Voice, Matt Monro. As I asked you on February 7, 2020, I certainly hope you have that sit down interview with Don Black about Matt Monro, where you have that long talk that starts with the soup and goes all the way through the nuts. I did enjoy how your Song of the Week about Norman Newell highlighted your friend Gaza's story of how Monro's breakthrough hit, Portrait of My Love, came about over Newell stepping out for just an hour from Gaza's parent's party at their seaside flat in Rustington.
Another person who had some interaction with Mr. Monro was John Cameron. He arranged and conducted a couple of Monro's songs that are my absolute favorites, If You Go (Originally Si Tu Partais, for Edith Piaf), and Lovin' You Again (Don Black/Udo Jurgens. Produced by George Martin. Re-mastered by Richard Moore.) The songs weren't released in English for several decades as Martin didn't think they fit on the album they were working on but I think they're gold. I could send them to you if you need.
Mr. Cameron also worked with Cilla Black, another of your favorites, and his work with Hot Chocolate led to a song that went to the top 10 in three different decades. Another avenue to explore would be Mr. Cameron's employment to arrange and conduct the original Les Miserables concept album that was used to sell the show. He later went on to arrange all of the music for the long running show for the next 20 years or so, possibly longer. In 1991 he orchestrated the London Palladium revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, one of your friend Sir Tim Rice's early works.
So this might make an interesting interview. Mr. Cameron would be about 79, probably living somewhere in England. After your upcoming trial in the King's Bench, get on your scooter and go have a chat with Mr. Cameron. It could make good material for another Song of the Week. Best wishes.
