Andrew,
I hope you're well.
The WHO pandemic treaty is gathering pace like a snowball going down a particular snowy hill, further undermining the integrity and relevance of the nation state, already weakened by rampant multiculturalism.
How far away do you think we are realistically from the Schwabian vision of one world government? It seems to me to be much closer than many are aware of.
Keep well.

This is being viewed, if it happens as a great accomplishment for the resident.

I think the policy proposal of a One-State Solution in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict would lead to the death or removal of virtually every Jew in Israel as the Palestinians have 460 million Arabs worldwide they can use to create another 15 million Palestinians to overwhelm the Jewish vote. Thus, I am a strong supporter of a Two-State Solution. However, I have always disagreed with the settlement program after the Six-Day War of 1967 on the grounds that it puts Israel in a position of occupier and naturally will lead to violence, the build-up of ethnic resentments.
With the settlements and occupation unilaterally removed and sovereign state status given to the West Bank and to the Gaza Strip, the lion's share of worldwide disapproval would be moot. Going forward, however, for every rocket launched at Israel, Israel will seize one square kilometer from the attacking territory and remove all inhabitants from the area and re-populate the area with Israelis with a new border wall protecting the area. The Gaza Strip is 365 square kilometers; the West Bank, 5,655 sq. km.; the Shiite areas of southern Lebanon are about 3,500 sq. kilometers. Suddenly, launching 100,000 rockets at Israel becomes a pathway to the loss of an awful lot of real estate.
Why do you think Israel has dragged its feet in unilaterally removing the settlements and recognizing the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as separate countries? What do you think Israel's publicly stated policy should be regarding the consequences of future attacks upon them?

Hi Andrew, it seems likely that Jewish people will again be intimidated in London this weekend while the police stand and watch and Sunak sits on his hands as always. Rishi Sunak fired Suella Braverman and she has fired back saying he is a weak leader. I think she is right and his sacking of her proved it. This comes at the same time the Supreme Court is saying his Rwanda plan is unlawful. Now he is claiming he'll tweak the plan and go ahead with it. Sunak has little credibility, especially after getting rid of Braverman. What do you think, Andrew?

Good afternoon, Andrew! Yesterday, Justin Trudeau fixed his mouth to say these words:
"The human tragedy that is unfolding in Gaza is heart wrenching, especially the suffering we see in and around the Al Shifa Hospital.
...
"I urge the Government of Israel to exercise maximum restraint. The world is watching on TV and social media.
...
"The world is witnessing this killing of women, of children, of babies. This has to stop."
My question: Is Trudeau such human garbage that he actually believes Israelis are hunting women, children, and babies like some kind of frenzied Elmer Fudd during Wabbit Season; OR is he petrified that the nearly two million Muslims in Canada are a greater threat to his personal safety than the barely 300,000 Jews?
Follow-up question: who would know better that "the world is watching on TV and social media" than Prime Minister Tru-blowdry?
Thank you, and my best wishes

Good afternoon, Andrew. Do you know what's going on in Azerbaijan? I just now saw the headlines there was killing of innocents going on there as well of the Armenian Christians. I looked up the region of Armenia under assault and couldn't locate it precisely. There is little to no media coverage of this. Do you believe that Islam is not just coordinating attacks on the West and it's not just Jews and Christians they're after? What is the group that gets targeted after these two groups? Blinken says he's concerned. Am I just out of touch or were these flare ups happening while Trump was in office and before, too, but just too small and scattered to garner much attention? Is Armenia always going to exist in fear of their safety like Israel waiting to be attacked? Is it another country that just stands in the way of a Islamic run world? Do you know what countries in the West stand up for these little guy countries under fire?

The Democrats are being quite languid in their approach to the 2024 election. Will the election be allowed to occur, in any meaningful sense? Even Roosevelt allowed the 1944 election to go on, and he could have gotten away with a postponement (I think).
Conservatives (I appear to be Steynonline's token conservative) see anti-democratic conspiracies everywhere these days.

Andrew, and fellow Club members, maybe our problems in politics stem from the assumption that most people want freedom, when it's probably closer to the truth that they simply want a dictatorship that they agree with.
It's hard not to notice a rising demand for authoritarianism. Politicians who demand censorship are elected with greater margins of victory while ideas of free speech are marginalized and verboten. Big Tech routinely sides with various government demands to exercise "greater responsibility." Will we live to see the extinguishment of liberty?

Dear Andrew,
Welcome back and thank you for helping keep the club going.
I recently listened to a conversation between Douglas Murray and Piers Morgan about whether the pro-Palestinian marches in London should have been allowed to proceed. While both men acknowledged the importance of free speech, Mr. Murray believed the march should have been prevented or at least policed for those who advocated harm or death towards Israel. Mr. Morgan felt there were many in the marches who did not support violence but simply wanted peace so such protests should be allowed. They then discussed the situation in Gaza and civilian casualties among the Palestinians since Hamas uses them as human shields and places offensive military equipment and fighters in hospitals, schools, and apartments.
My question is: do you think the Hamas supporters advocating for the elimination of Jews and Israel who are embedded in the western protests are using those who are protesting for peace as human shields just as they are using civilians in Gaza?
Warm Regards,
Bill

A flippant question about tort. Why hasn't there been more interest in using Comedy as a a weapon against defamation, rather than vindictive litigation? The right PR firm coupled with the best comedy writer could deliver a devastating whammy over the Media, likely at a fraction of the cost. Expanding on the clown gambit further, it was once suggested that the best way to defuse racial and other ethnic tensions would be to have members of such groups meet in a public venue and hilariously heckle each other until they grow tired from laughter. This would have the welcome bonus of demystifying and neutering certain "forbidden words".
But maybe the last thing many want is for problems to be solved...
