Related to this, Sheila Lewis did not take her own life: she effectively had a death sentence pronounced over her by denying her an organ transplant which would have extended her life. This happened simply because she would not take the covid jab. Since she was an Albertan trapped in Canada, there was no private medical alternative in her country without submitting to the groupthink and ideology of the federal and provincial system single healthcare provider.
Mark, I wish you all the best in your recovery. I think your chances are pretty good because as Samuel L Jackson would be forced to say at a Canadian university "You're one tough birthing-person breeder".

The Wall Street Journal had a column this week by Daniel Henninger entitled, "The Stupid Party vs. the Evil Party." The sub-headline was, "One of the two parties has no intention of losing..."
The main point of his article was that the Republicans would be dumb to nominate Trump because Trump won't be able to win in the general election and because the Democrats will pull the plug on Biden. Mr. Henninger seems to think that the ceiling on Trump's support is too low and that the Democrats can get "just enough" support to win for whoever they do run. However, I think the evil machinations of the Democrats are quantum level above this thinking.
I think that there's a risk that the US electorate could not even get the opportunity to vote for Trump. This is because of the recent "14th Amendment" trope that's circulating. At first, I was dismissive of this, but now I see evil genius in it.
The 14th amendment argument is that Trump is ineligible to run because of this amendment's "insurrection clause." That is, Trump can't run because he incited an insurrection on January 6th. It won't matter that no court has ruled on this. Rather, various blue state/swing state Secretaries of State and other election officials will solemnly intone that, "We've given the amendment deep and serious study, and have concluded that indeed Mr. Trump is not eligible to run for our Highest Office, so we're not even going to put him on the ballot." If you Google it, you can already see this being discussed.
Trump can try to fight this in the court, but good luck with getting that process to play out in time, and that's assuming he wins. So, effectively no due process for him, and no real choice for the country. I'm astounded!
My questions:
(1) Do you think the Democrats could really be so brazen as to try this scheme?
(2) If they do it, do you think that the country will put up with it?
