Join Mark for a brand new audio version of Steyn's Song of the Week, which airs every Sunday on Serenade Radio in the UK at 5:30pm UK time/1.30pm North American Eastern.
In case you missed it, here's how the last seven days looked to Mark:
~As always, the week began on a musical note, with Mark's take on on Bert William's 1905 song "Nobody."
~This week brought a new instalment of Mark's Tales for our Time series, Sir Sacheverell Sitwell's A Roumanian Journey. You can binge the whole series if you'd like or listen at your leisure to parts one, two, three and the concluding part four.
~Mark's Monday column rounded up the news on Day 12 of Europe's newest war, including a scuppered Polish fighter jet plan, a confused Joe Biden, and a great exodus of multinational corporations from Russia.
~Monday also kicked off a new week of The Mark Steyn Show on GB News, featuring Dr Jay Bhattacharya on the public health dictatorship, Mary Dejevsky on the war in Ukraine, and Andrew Yong on citizenship and Gurkhas.
~On Tuesday, Mark caught up with People's Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier and Ukrainian MP Inna Sovsun, and examined the rising cost of energy in our time of war.
~Later on Tuesday, Mark caught up with his old radio chum James "Mr Snerdley" Golden to celebrate International Women's Day with a chat about psychiatric treatment for Gitmo jihadists.
~Mark brought back Miss Sovsun for Wednesday's show to give another update from the Ukrainian front, and also spoke about biolabs, Covid and big tech censorship among other topics.
~Laura Rosen Cohen served up a batch of her famous links Thursday morning, covering facial freedom in Ontario, why France is screwed, and Putin's fantastical Russian history.
~Mark closed out the week on GB News Thursday with a cheery trio of topics – nuclear armageddon, biological warfare, and crisis in the energy sector.
~On Friday, SteynOnline's deputy senior assistant vice-president of Canadian affairs, Andrew Lawton, picked the lock on Mark's studio door and sat in for a substitute-guest-guest hosted edition of our Clubland Q&A, fielding questions on Trudeau's trucker crackdown, Putin's Russian invasion, the global elites and the hierarchy of alarmism.
~Rick McGinnis kept our Saturday night movie date with a look at the underexamined Alfred Hitchcock screwball comedy Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Tales for Our Time, The Hundred Years Ago Show and Clubland Q&A are special productions for The Mark Steyn Club. The Steyn Club is not to everyone's taste, but we do have members in every corner of the world from Virginia to Vanuatu, and, if you have a chum who's partial to classic poems on video or classic fiction in audio, we offer a special gift membership.
A new week at SteynOnline begins later today.
