This is the 3rd or 4th straight year that I've noticed that the celebration of the MLK Day Holiday in the US is strangely and noticeably quiet, and barely discussed in any media. In an era when the Far Left fans the flames of racial strife so quickly, and racial differences are so loudly emphasized, you might think the holiday commemorating the leading black civil rights leader would make for a particularly rancorous weekend.
But instead I can't help but believe it's being deliberately ignored. My theory is that MLK's messages of equality that led the civil rights movement, having been achieved, have been completely abandoned for the next step toward 'equity' - and with it the institutionalization of racial preferences til the end. At this point, I think MLK is an inconvenience for the Far Left in that the MLK 'equality' messages Americans were taught the past 40 or so years are now out of date for them.
Is there an opportunity here for conservative-thinking people to arrest the Far Left 'equity' movement by loudly and proudly emphasizing, celebrating, and eventually defending MLK's messages of equality? We'd have to move fast, before the Far Left notices and has Biden change today to Equity Day, or Black Lives Matter Day, which would be my response if I were Them.
