Hi Mark, I always look forward to your Q&As! One of the Club's very best offerings! By the way, I am thoroughly "enjoying" the Green Fraud. Says it ALL! So here's my comment for your consideration. You often talk about the importance of words and how the liberals have been masters at using words/language to cover-up and sugarcoat their real intentions. Well, we Club Members are a unique group, we actually believe our lying eyes! So it's time to drop any reference to the Democratic Party, Democrats, Liberals, Progressives. They are now the Socialist Party, inhabited by Socialists. All who have their eyes AND ears open, should start telling it like it is from this day forward!! Thanks Again for All You Do!

Lately I have been hearing from serious people that there is significant evidence that UFO's have been observed in U.S. airspace. If we are, in fact, being visited by a civilization from beyond our solar system do you think they pose a greater danger to us than China? Wherever they might come from i think i would rather be ruled by them than the Democrat party.

Hey Mark,
The lockdowns are coming to an end here in the red states and hopefully they won't be coming back. However, and as you've pointed out, the left and more than a few establishment type Republicans seem to want to keep us in a permanent state of emergency, the January 6 commission being a recent prominent example. How can we resist the next "it's different this time?"

Dear Mark,
I have often heard Justin Trudeau commenting that Canada is a "nation of immigrants" or is a "nation built on immigration" etc etc. Recently George W. Bush said something on the same lines about the US. Surely this is manipulation of language for ideological reasons. An "immigrant" is a person who moves to a state that is already in existence. These countries were actually "built" by "pioneers" and "settlers". What do you think?

Question re the Mark Steyn Cruise: will passengers be required to provide proof of vaccine? I can't emphasize enough that I'm not anti-vax. I'm just anti THIS vax. Not because I think it's unsafe (though I believe it has it's problems) or that it will microchip me for future identification purposes when the new China-style social credit program expands to the west. I simply have a policy of refusing medications I don't need, nor am I thrilled about the incessant pressure to submit to it. Something about the peer pressure automatically puts my back up.
So, will the refuseniks be refused from setting sail?
Absolutely love your show and I'm grateful to you for keeping me sane all these pandemic months.
All the best, Liz

Personal questions today: what's your favorite literary genre? Do you stick to politics/history/culture, classics, great books, fiction, mysteries, or something out of left field? Who would you say are your top 2 or 3 favorite authors and what makes them your favorites?
Thank you again!

Hi Mark, I like your comments about Northern Ireland and find your knowledge on such a small place quite remarkable. You'll no doubt have heard that H M Inspectorate of Constabulary found that the PSNI acted properly in allowing an IRA funeral with several thousand attendees to proceed unhindered. The Inspectorate adjudicated that due to the complex nature of the Covid regulations there was not enough evidence that any of the attendees had knowingly committed an offence. Don't you think the entire enquiry could have been avoided by just quoting Kathy Shaidle, as you did yesterday 'It's different when we do it'. Anyway on a more pleasant topic, your frequent assertion that if everyone is racist/Hitler, then nobody's racist/Hitler always reminds me of the Gilbert and Sullivan song from The Gondoliers, 'There lived a King' which concludes with the lines 'In short whoever you may be, with this conclusion you'll agree, When everyone is somebodee then no-one's anybody'. In all your musical discussions over the years, I've never heard you mention Gilbert and Sullivan! Are you a fan? Best wishes, John

I heard you speak about the closure of the Canada-US border on your show this week. As an imprisoned Canadian I share your concerns, but I note Conservative politicians like Erin O'Toole and Doug Ford have been the loudest voices trying to keep it closed for even longer and make it even harder for people who are entitled to enter the country to do so. Why do you think this is?

Regarding your statement about the future of conservative media: are there any podcasts or podcasters (or, perhaps more simply: "voices in alternative media") that you find particularly helpful or entertaining? And have you received an invitation to appear on any of them?
Somewhat unrelated:
1. Daniel Hannan, who I rather admire, recently posted a short video which was rather pessimistic. If you've seen it, I was curious about your thoughts.

So now our so-called "legislative" branch will again put on judicial hats to hold a January 6th truth commission. Probably more fun that actually doing some legislative work, say regarding our border. More useful would a deep-dive into how much we got wrong in managing the pandemic from lockdowns and mandates that had little impact on infections, hospitalizations and deaths; to closing down work and life on our young who were at little risk. Oh, and where are all the ventilators stored that we made at the outset. Lessons could be gleaned that may help us the next go around. However, I suspect any real effort from the Congress or White House is unlikely.

What do you think of vaccine passports? On one hand I find them creepy, because it's none of anyone else's business. But on the other, as a matter of practicality they seem inevitable. If I want to travel to many European countries, they require proof of vaccination, which I think is their prerogative as sovereign nations. I note that some states are easing restrictions for vaccinated people, which seems preferable to other jurisdictions that are keeping everyone locked down until the politburo determines enough of the population is vaccinated, irrespective of individual status. What are your thoughts?

What is happening with the recount in Windham, NH?
Is this not the whole shebang right here? Is not Windham the microcosm of everything rotten in politics in the US?
My understanding is Windham has had to fight to even be allowed a recount, fight for months, and has already been told no recount results will be allowed to change an outcome. From over here it looks like the audit itself is a snow job designed to pretend we're getting answers. If we can't fix Windham, how can we ever fix the rest?

So what is the future of conservative radio?
With Rush gone, I find myself listening to no one.
I used to check out Prager, but he came so close to being a Never-Trumper, and his favorite guests (Bill Kristol, Jonah Goldberg, Max Boot, even Jennifer Rubin (!)) were Never-Trumpers, and Dennis lost my trust.
Radio in general, broadcasting in general, are struggling. Jimmy Kimmel just delivered a tirade to ABC affiliates about their low ratings. Jimmy apparently doesn't grasp that his tiny audience is a part of the problem (Gutfeld, after a month on-air with his new show, is neck and neck and will surely pass Kimmel in the ratings).
With the internet, and my collection of old movies and TV shows, I rarely ever watch broadcast TV, and I don't have cable (sorry, Lachlan).
