UPDATE! I believe Ted Cruz will be among my guests on "Hannity" tonight at 10pm Eastern/7pm Pacific, so I hope you'll tune in.
This morning I sat in with Stuart Varney for a full hour on Fox Business, encompassing everything from Trump to gas prices to Star Wars to Miss Universe to Feline Groovy. We'll post a few moments as they emerge from the Fox fortress, but you may enjoy (if that's the word) this interview re Hillary with Anthony Weiner, in which I show up toward the end.
And don't be deterred by that temporarily out of stock notice for my new cat album over at Amazon. I'm told the new shipment arrives tomorrow morning, so order today and they'll be mailing it tomorrow.
~I settled in with Elisabeth, Steve and Clayton on the curvy couch at "Fox & Friends" this morning for a wide-ranging chat from ISIS to Tina Fey. But, apropos the fiasco at the post-Trump Miss Universe, I remarked that Steve Harvey had told me my cat album had broken all records and taken $517 million over the weekend. But then he apologized and said no, wait, that was Star Wars. You can see a little clip of my appearance here.
I'll be back on the telly with Stuart Varney on Fox Business live at 10am Eastern/7am Pacific, and then guest-hosting "Hannity" tonight coast to coast at 10pm Eastern.
~On the subject of ISIS et al, a reader who describes himself as "a lifelong friend of General Richard Myers" (appointed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff just after 9/11), writes:
We had dinner not long afterwards. As a student of human history I told him that the Muslims were just getting started. They still think they own Spain, etc. My father was a fighter pilot in WW II and was killed shortly before my birth in 1944. He is buried at the American cemetery in Madingly, England. My son is now in training with USAF to be a fighter pilot.
Each time I would return from Lindon beginning in the 70s I would remark to Americans how England wasn't England anymore. Old Blighty is gone. Soon will be Germany, etc. the next "world war" will be nothing like WW II.
Where does it end, Mark? Sharia law, or not? They are everywhere. Malaysia, Indonesia, Sweden, Denmark, etc. They won't be nice and assimilate. The "moderate " Muslims won't speak up...
We had a wake-up call on 9/11, but chose to go back to sleep. The two most interesting points in the Democrat debate were Hillary Clinton's breezy assertion that Trump's immigration proposals were being used in ISIS recruitment videos and Martin O'Malley's equally fanatastical recollection of going to a mosque and "looking into the eyes" of Muslim boy scouts. It is easier to take refuge in sentimentalist delusion and blame the problem on those who point out the problem.
~Feline Groovy keeps flying off the shelves. The CD is currently out of stock at Amazon, but I'm told a big new delivery arrives there tomorrow morning, so you should still be able to get it in time for Christmas morning. There are still CDs available via CD Baby or direct from the Steyn store. And, of course, for instant gratification, it can be yours in seconds via digital download from Amazon or iTunes. As this five-star reviewer puts it:
Great album. Purrrrrrfect!
